The beating of a dragon's wings
cast a balmy sigh on all bright things

The next extinction knows my name
I'm creating magic, just the same

and it's real,
do you see?

Sing we now our dragonsong
dance awake the souls we damned too long

One jeweled, bedazzled note in flight
calls the dragon moving toward the light

and it's real,
do you see?

Something crawls back into something else
and with no sound it all begins again
The dragon swallows it's own tail and soon no one
remembers it had ever been
but it's real,
do you see?

Sing we now our dragonsong
dance awake our hearts before we're gone

The stones no longer wish to be walls
now the beggars soar and empires fall

and it's real,
do you see?

Eddy Dyer Lowell, Massachusetts

The old saying about New England weather is, if you don't like it, stick around because it will change. This is true of Lowell, Massachusetts songsmith Eddy Dyer's music. "Further From The Shore" reflects a body of work as prolific, unpredictable, and eccentric as Bowie, Beck or The Beatles.
Put on some headphones and enjoy.
